PAST Studio

An art and technology studio based in Barcelona, operating since 2014 under the creative direction of Czech media artist Petr Rimsky.

We design, produce, and deliver audiovisual projects for new media setups. Our work explores the use of cutting-edge technologies in creating state-of-the-art graphic content tailored to the needs and technical frameworks of our clients.

We specialize in immersive media, generative graphics, next-generation LED displays, fulldome projections, augmented reality, machine learning, and interactive audiovisual systems.

Our creative process is founded on the interaction between designer and computer, rethinking how digital tools can shape new artistic forms and narratives.

We have developed fulldome projects in collaboration with Eyesberg Studio (Barcelona) and the Society for Arts and Technology [SAT] (Montreal). Together with SAT, we co-produced the immersive films Cage and Core Collapse, presented at international festivals including SAT Fest Montreal, MUTEK Tokyo, and Sónar Barcelona.
